Farmstay

Farmstay is the quintessential Australian experience.

Accommodation is on a farm within the family home. Enjoy homemade meals, friendly hosts and the opportunity to participate in a range of farm activities.Spend the day feeding the farm animals, spotting wildlife, fruit picking, cooking scones, hand-held horse-riding, swimming in waterholes, gardening, or weeding, enjoying Devonshire tea on the porch or bushwalking.

Many of our farmers love to also take guests sightseeing to nearby waterfalls, bushwalking locations and to other farms.

A full day visit can be arranged for guests who are limited with time.

Guardianship & Welfare Services

Banora International Group provides support and full guardianship and welfare services to international student visa holders under the age of 18.

Banora International Groups guardianship services provides parents comfort in knowing the day to day care of their child is being catered for.

This includes monitoring their living arrangements (i.e. homestay), liaising with their school and ensuring their general health and medical needs are being met.

Further, we ensure that the student, to the best of their ability, complies with any visa requirements imposed by the government.

Marine Conservation Programs

Depending on the level of English, age, and duration, we offer various programs.

Our half day behind the scenes provides a learning and partly interactive educational on the reef and the significance of the protection of its ecosystem. Other programs enable participants to contribute to the ongoing protection of the Great Barrier Reef by collecting valuable information about the by identifying coral formations and marine animals they encounter while visiting the reef and then applying their learnings to the Eye on the Reef Rapid Monitoring Survey.

Our longer immersion programs enable participants to assist in the rehabilitation of the green sea turtles.

Mother & Child Programs

Mother and child programs are programs whereby mother and child travel on a program together and there is some joint participation.

The child will either participate in an ESL study program or a local school program.

Personality Development & Self Awareness Programs

Banora International Group provides a uniquely Australian approach to personality profiling that is fun, effective, and easy to apply.

Participants complete an online app, consisting of a series of questions which have no right or wrong answers. Once completed, the participant will be matched with one of four Australian animals which becomes their totem.

Learning about the characteristics of their totem assists individuals to have a greater awareness and understanding of themselves in relation to work, life and learning. It assists students and their teachers to understand the individual’s values and deeper needs when considering future study options or choice of career.
