Accommodation

ASAP Homestays, a division of Banora International Group is the largest homestay company in Queensland.  Apart from being convenient and safe, a homestay offers complete immersion into the Australian way of life and is extremely rewarding.  You will have the opportunity to experience the Australian lifestyle firsthand, practice English, try Australian food and make lifelong friends. 

We have host families close to schools and universities throughout several regions in Australia. Host families look after students during the homestay and treat them like a member of their family. Meals and daily transport can be included in the homestay.

As well as our classic homestay experience, we are pleased to offer alternative accommodation options to suit every individual. Whether you prefer to stay in shared dormitory accommodation or in a self-contained share house, Banora International Group has a team of dedicated professionals with the expertise to match you with your preferred style of living.

Transfers

We can arrange transfers from the airport on arrival to your accommodation.

This can be included as a service provided by the host family if you are staying in a homestay or as an optional addition to your program.

  • 24-hour emergency assistance and bilingual support.

Guardianship Services

Guardianship is a legal requirement for any student under the age of 18 years studying on a student visa in Australia.

Our guardianship service provides parents comfort in knowing the day to day care of their child is being catered for.

This includes monitoring their living arrangements i.e. homestay, liaising with their school and ensuring their general health and medical needs are being met.

Further, we ensure that the student, to the best of their ability, complies with any visa requirements imposed by the government.

School placement

Education by Recreation manages the placement and fee collection for overseas students throughout Australia into:

  • Public and private primary and secondary schools (Prep to Year 12)
  • Public and private universities (Bachelors, Masters and PhD)
  • Vocational education institutions (Certificate and Diplomas)
  • English language colleges (General English, IELTS preparation, Cambridge preparation etc.)
